Nature in Glass

Years ago, on our first trip to Venice, on our way to Murano, we stumbled upon a small shop with a window display featuring life like examples of nature in glass. There were fish, insects, birds, crustaceans and much more, all masterly created in glass. I was sadden to find that the store was closed.

After a long day on Murano looking for works of glass, I could not stop thinking about that little workshop in Venice and was determined to return.

The next day, I meet the Glass Master, Vittorio Costantini and his wonderful wife Grazella and purchased the first two pieces of my collection.

And the adventure began....
